Access forums
Natural England will increase the opportunities available for people to make the natural environment an enriching part of their daily lives. Our objective is to improve places and increase the number and diversity of people enjoying the environment.
To achieve this, we work with user groups, farmers, land managers and public authorities to maintain, develop and promote access.
Local Access Forums improve access at a local level and resolve problems by advising highway authorities and other local organisations, such as National Park Authorities.
The England Access Forum was established to enable Local Access Forums to influence national policy on access and to share good practice.
