We’re looking for a commercial image library provider
Natural England has over 55,000 images under copyright, all catalogued and many of them excellent publication quality. We’ve recently commissioned another photography contract so will be adding to our image library.
We are actively seeking a commercial image library partner to help us maximise value from this image library – both from licensing images and from the sale of prints, posters and merchandise. We’re currently drawing up our specification, but in the meantime, any interested parties should contact sarah.hughes-clarke@naturalengland.org.uk
We’re looking for a mobile technology partner to help promote GPS-coded information on our nature reserves
Natural England owns a range of fascinating and stimulating information about the wildlife, landscape and geological features that you are likely to encounter when you visit any of our National Nature Reserves. We’ve completed a pilot project on linking this information to GPS codes, so that visitors to our reserves can access site-specific information on their mobile phones as they move around.
We’re looking for a technology partner to help us take this forward and develop a commercial product. We’re open to either mobile hardware or mobile network providers. We’ll also be looking for a mobile technology consultant at an early stage to help us evaluate our possibilities.

We’re looking for marketing partners to help us expand the Walking for Health scheme
Walking for Health is the most successful scheme in the UK for providing led health walks, with more than half a million people having been through the project to date, around 16,000 volunteer walk leaders trained and 32,000 walkers participate each week. We want to encourage more people who are currently sedentary, for whatever reason, to take up walking in a friendly, safe and well-managed setting.
